ASHERS
Nearly 130 years ago James Asher opened a bakery and shop in Nairn, Scotland. Four generations later two of his great- grandsons carry on the baking tradition making the finest of bakery products. Their recipes are all unique. Being in the heart of the Highlands many of the ingredients are sourced locally, especially the single malt whiskies used in their award winning Whisky Cakes.Whisky cakes come in 3 varieties each generously laced with: Highland single malt whisky, Speyside single malt whisky or Islay single malt whisky. In each cake the complex flavours of each whisky complements the moist rich fruit cake. The Island single malt whisky cake has a distinctive peaty, smoky flavour typical of an Islay malt, whereas the Speyside has a sweet delicious taste.

BREWDOG
Martin and James were bored of the industrially brewed lagers and stuffy ales that dominate the UK market. They decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament was to brew their own beers. Consequently in April 2007 BrewDog was born. Both only 24 at the time, leased a building, got some scary bank loans, spent all the money on stainless steel and started making some hardcore beers.
'We are dedicated to making cool, contemporary and progressive beers showcasing some of the world’s classic beer styles. All with an innovative twist and customary BrewDog bite.'
